Guwahati, July 26 (NKTV): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma laid the foundation stone of Bamboo Industrial Park at Manderdisa in Dima Hasao.
The project is worth 50 crore rupees and shall be implemented by the Ministry of DoNER.
“Once completed, the project will usher in a new era in economy of Northeast and create vast employment opportunities for local youth” the CM said.
Minister Pijush Hazarika, CEM of NC Hills Autonomous Council and Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council along with Executive Members were present at the ceremony among others.
