Elon Musk likely to buy Twitter for $43 billion

The world’s richest man and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has offered to buy the popular micro-blogging platform Twitter for $43 billion. According to reports, Elon Musk has offered a price of $54.20 per share representing a 38% premium to the closing price of Twitter’s stock on April 1.

Interestingly, Elon Musk is Twitter’s highest shareholder having over a 9% stake in the social media platform.
