DA for Central Government employees hiked to 28%

Guwahati, July 14 (NKTV): The Union Cabinet on Wednesday announced that the the Dearness Allowance (DA) for Central Government employees and dearness relief for pensioners has been increased from 17% to 28%. It will be applicable from July 1, 2021.

Although it will be applicable from July 1, 2021. However, no arrears for the period period from January 1, 2020, till June 30, 2021, will be paid. Union Minister Anurag Thakur said “The Dearness Allowance (DA) for Central Government employees and pensioners has been increased from 17% to 28%. This will be applicable from 1st July 2021: Union Minister Anurag Thakur.”
