City Cricket Club clinches GSA Champions Trophy

City Cricket Club crowned as champions of GSA Champions Trophy after defeating Bud Cricket Club by 34 runs in the final. Deciding to bat City Cricket Club scored 194 runs in their 20 overs. Hrishikesh Tamuli scored the highest 72 runs for the City Cricket Club. He remained not out.

On the other hand, Bud Cricket could only managed to score just 160 runs in 20 overs. Atul Singh scored the highest 32 runs for the Bud team.

Hrishikesh Tamuli for his splendid innings was adjourned man of the match in the final. He was also awarded the best batter for his wonderful run in the tournament. Meanwhile, Pushparaj Sharma won the best bowler title. Trilochan Singh of Gauhati Town Club clinched the man of the tournament title.

In the Closing Ceremony Chiranjit Langthasa, Treasurer Assam Cricket Association was present as Chief Guest while Sri Rajinder Singh Joint Secretary, Assam Cricket Association was present as Guest of Honour.
