Guwahati, August 15 (NKTV): For bringing awareness on drugs abusive and human trafficking among the society, the All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) organised an awareness programme against the drugs abusive and human trafficking incidents on Sunday at Owabari Daokibari in Kokrajhar district.
The programme was carried out by ABSU central committee and Kokrajhar district committee of ABSU in connection with the celebration of 75th Independence Day of the country which was chaired by Janak Ujir,ABSU speaker.
ABSU president Dipen Boro, general secretary Khanindra Basumatary have graced as guests in the event and highlighted towards importance of social awareness against the drugs abusive and human trafficking among the society.
ABSU has been stepping strict step against the drugs abusive and alcohol using among the youths which has been creating chaos among the society. ABSU president Dipen Boro said that the present scenario of drugs abusive environment among the youths and human trafficking incidents are seeing increasing day by across the region. He said that the students union has been emphasizing for bringing healthy awareness among the society against the drugs abusive and human trafficking incident which is not suited in today’s era. He has urged the citizens to come forward against the human trafficking and drugs abusive environment.
