Assam | Government jobs for Olympics, Asian, Commonwealth and National Games medalists

Guwahati, July 19 (NKTV): The Government of Assam has decided to provide government jobs to medalists of Olympics, Asian, Commonwealth and National Games at the Assembly today.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that along with Olympics, Asian and Commonwealth games medalists, the medal winners in National Games would also get government jobs.

The CM also said that all those who won medals in National Games so far for Assam would be given Sports Pension by the state government.

“I hope that this decision would help the sportspersons of the state” the CM said.
