Afghan Govt offers to share power with Taliban to end violence

Guwahati, August 12 (NKTV): The Government of Afghanistan has offered Taliban to share power in the government in a bid to end violence. This comes after Taliban insurgents captured the city of Ghazni.

Reportedly, the government is losing hold as the Taliban has been conquering city after city. It may be mentioned here that Taliban now controls about two thirds of Afghanistan.

The government has submitted a proposal to Qatar as mediator.
