The first images of the suspects involved in the alleged assassination attempt on Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff have surfaced, as Mumbai Police intensify their search for the accused.
A close-up image shows two men standing together, with one of them wearing a black cap. Several videos of the incident have also emerged, showing how close the shooters were to Shroff’s car when they opened fire as the actor was leaving a football ground in Juhu, Mumbai.
A newly surfaced video shows Shroff getting into the driver’s seat of his BMW sedan moments after the firing and rushing his injured driver to Nanavati Hospital for treatment. The driver was reportedly shot when the two assailants opened fire at the vehicle. Bloodstains were also visible on the road after the car left the scene.
Juhu Police have registered a case against three unidentified persons in connection with the incident. The case has been filed under Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with relevant provisions of the Arms Act.
The Maharashtra Chief Minister has directed the police to identify and apprehend the accused, assuring strict action against those involved.
Police have traced and seized the Pulsar motorcycle allegedly used by the shooters to flee from Juhu to Andheri after the firing. The motorcycle, believed to be from Mumbai, has been kept at DN Nagar Police Station.
Investigators are examining the vehicle’s registration details and chassis number to establish its ownership history. Preliminary findings suggest that the motorcycle changed hands three times. Its first owner was reportedly from Jogeshwari, while the accused allegedly purchased it from the third owner.
According to sources, the suspects went to Andheri railway station after the incident and reportedly boarded a train. Police are examining CCTV footage to trace their subsequent movements.
Mumbai Police have also intensified checks on public transport, suspecting that the accused may have used trains and buses to escape. Government and private buses leaving Mumbai are being inspected, while trains travelling from Mumbai to other states are also under heightened surveillance.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are continuing efforts to track down the suspects.
