At Chennai School’s Golden Jubilee Celebration, Prime Minister Urges Students to Dream Big, Think Differently and Act Fearlessly

Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the immense potential of India’s youth to address global challenges during the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Jaigopal Garodia Hindu Vidyalaya in Chennai.

Addressing the gathering, PM Modi said the global community was actively looking for innovative solutions to emerging challenges and expressed confidence that India’s young people possessed the talent and capabilities needed to provide them. He emphasised that the present era belonged to the younger generation, whose fresh ideas, creativity and hard work would shape the future of India and the world.

The Prime Minister also underscored the importance of national unity and the timeless wisdom of Tamil heritage. Praising the ancient Tamil classic Thirukkural, he described it as an important guide to life and lifelong learning. He reminded students that acquiring knowledge was not enough; it was equally important to apply that knowledge in practical life.

Urging students to dream big, think differently and act fearlessly, PM Modi highlighted the “infinite opportunities” available in India today. He said young people would play a central role in achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047, as the country works towards becoming a developed nation.

The Prime Minister further stressed that combining modern innovation with a strong connection to India’s cultural heritage could empower young leaders to build a progressive and self-reliant nation. He expressed confidence that India’s youth could also earn recognition on the global stage through their talent, determination and innovative thinking.
