Guwahati Royals, Dibrugarh Warriors, Barak Legends and Barpeta Braves to battle for inaugural title; champions to receive ₹50 lakh, runners-up ₹25 lakh
Guwahati, August 20, 2026: The champions of the Imperial Blue Packaged Drinking Water Assam Premier League will receive ₹50 lakh, while the runners-up will take home ₹25 lakh, adding further incentive as the inaugural season enters its decisive phase.
With the league stage nearing its conclusion, Guwahati Royals, Dibrugarh Warriors, Barak Legends and Barpeta Braves have emerged as the top four teams and will compete in the semi-finals of the Imperial Blue Packaged Drinking Water Assam Premier League on August 21. The two winners will meet in the grand final on August 23 to battle for the inaugural title.
The Imperial Blue Packaged Drinking Water Assam Premier League features eight teams across a 23-day, 43-match season, providing a platform for emerging cricketing talent from across Assam. Organised by the Assam Cricket Association, the league will crown its first-ever champions on August 23.
