ACA Girls’ U-15 Inter District Cricket Tournament 2026Organised by Guwahati Sports Association under the aegis of Assam Cricket Association
Guwahati emerged as the Champions of the ACA Girls’ U-15 Inter District Cricket Tournament 2026, defeating Lakhimpur by 7 wickets in the final played at Judges’ Field, Guwahati on 25th July 2026.
The final match was ceremonially inaugurated by Sri Sajjad Zaheer Hussain, Hony. Joint Secretary, Guwahati Sports Association, who conveyed his best wishes to both the finalist teams.
The Closing Ceremony was graced by Sri Sanatan Das, Secretary, Assam Cricket Association, as the Chief Guest. Smt. Rumi Boro, Member, Apex Council, Assam Cricket Association, and Smt. Nazreen Sultana Ali Ahmed, Chairperson, Women’s Selection Committee, Assam Cricket Association, attended the function as the Guests of Honour.
Also present on the occasion were Smt. Amba Saikia Patgiri, Vice-President, Guwahati Sports Association; Sri Sajjad Zaheer Hussain, Hony. Joint Secretary, Guwahati Sports Association; Sri Bablu Choudhury, Hony. Assistant General Secretary, Guwahati Sports Association; Sri Deepjyoti Baruah, Hony. Assistant General Secretary, Guwahati Sports Association; and Sri Nasir Gul Khan, Sports Secretary (Cricket), Guwahati Sports Association, who distributed the trophies, medals, and individual prizes to the winners, runners-up, and outstanding performers of the tournament.
The Guwahati Sports Association expressed its gratitude to the Assam Cricket Association, participating teams, match officials, volunteers, medical staff, media personnel, and all stakeholders for their valuable support in the successful conduct of the tournament.
