India beats Bangladesh to clinch record-extending sixth SAFF Women’s Championship title
In the SAFF Women’s Championship 2026 final, India defeated the defending champions, Bangladesh, 3-1 to win the title for a record sixth time. The match was played in Madgaon, Goa, yesterday. After seven years, the Blue Tigresses have once again lifted the trophy.

After that, Bangladesh could not make a comeback, and India won the match 3-1.
