Portfolio Allocation in Himanta Biswa Sarma’s Cabinet
Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma today allocated portfolios to four ministers in his new cabinet.
Here is the list of portfolios:
- Rameswar Teli has been assigned the Labour Welfare and Development department along with the Tea, Tribal and Adivasi Development department.
- Atul Bora has been given the Panchayat and Rural Development, Assam Accord Implementation, Border Protection and Development, and Excise departments.
- Charan Boro has been entrusted with the Transport and Bodoland Welfare departments.
- Ajanta Neog has been assigned the Women and Child Development and Tourism departments.
This is the first round of portfolio distribution in the new NDA government in Assam. More allocations are expected in the coming days.
