Guwahati High Court Rejects Bail Plea of Pawan Khera
Advocate General of Assam, Devajit Saikia, addressed a press conference today regarding the rejection of the bail application of Pawan Khera by the Guwahati High Court.
The single bench of Justice Parthivjyoti Saikia rejected the bail plea of Pawan Khera. With the bail application turned down, there is a strong possibility of his arrest at any moment.
According to the Advocate General, multiple cases have been registered against Pawan Khera, including charges related to spreading false propaganda and other serious offences.
It was also informed that Pawan Khera had displayed a fake passport of the Chief Minister’s wife during a public event.
The development has added a new twist to the ongoing legal battle involving Pawan Khera.
