India-AI Impact Summit 2026 to commence in New Delhi tomorrow
The India-AI Impact Summit 2026, focusing on the development of Artificial Intelligence for Good solutions across healthcare, agriculture and governance is set to commence in New Delhi tomorrow.
Ahead of the Summit, the finalists of three flagship Global Impact Challenges – AI for ALL, AI by HER, and YUVAi were announced today.
Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said, these challenges were launched to advance the adoption of novel and impactful AI solutions, aligned with global priorities.
It said that more than 4 thousand six hundred fifty applications were received from over 60 countries, reflecting strong international participation.
Following a rigorous multi-stage evaluation by domain experts and industry leaders, the top 70 teams across the challenges have been selected as finalists.
These teams will showcase their solutions at the Summit’s Grand Finale and Awards Felicitation Ceremony tomorrow and on Tuesday at Bharat Mandapam and Sushma Swaraj Bhawan.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology in collaboration with Intel India, will launch the Nationwide Digital Campaign to Promote Ethical, Inclusive and Responsible AI Use tomorrow.
In a statement, the Ministry informed that the initiative will attempt an official Guinness World Records title for the Most pledges received for an AI responsibility campaign in 24 hours.
It added that the campaign under the India AI Mission aims to reinforce India’s commitment of building a trustworthy and human-centric AI ecosystem.
The initiative will include scenario-based questions that encourage participants to reflect on responsible AI practices before taking the formal pledge. Upon completion, participants will receive a digital honorary badge issued jointly by India AI and Intel India, along with access to curated government-led AI learning pathways.
