USTM Students Shine in UGC NET December 2025: 35 Qualifiers So Far
The University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of its students who have successfully qualified for the UGC NET Examination, December 2025. Till now, 35 students from various departments have cleared the prestigious national eligibility test, bringing pride to the university and reaffirming USTM’s academic excellence and commitment to quality higher education.
The qualifiers represent a diverse range of disciplines, including English, Political Science, Commerce, Education, Sociology, Social Work, Economics, Law, Library & Information Science, Rural Development, and PQSE, reflecting the strong academic mentoring and research-oriented learning environment at USTM. This remarkable success once again highlights USTM’s student-centric academic ecosystem, experienced faculty mentorship, and a culture of rigorous preparation that empowers students to excel in national-level competitive examinations.
As per the university’s Payback Policy, all students qualifying for UGC NET are eligible to receive 100% refund of their admission and semester fees for the entire course as a reward for their achievement, an initiative that makes USTM one of the very few institutions in the country to offer such encouragement for academic excellence.
