The Monsoon Session of Parliament will be held from July 21 to August 12, according to the recommendations sent by the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs to the President, sources told India Today TV.

Sources revealed that the government is ready to discuss Operation Sindoor and the Pahalgam terror attack in line with the rules and regulations of the Parliament if the Opposition demands a discussion.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has reached out to several Opposition leaders, including those from the Congress, TMC, Samajwadi Party, and DMK, in connection with the impeachment case of Justice Yashwant Varma, as per sources.

“This is not a political issue. This is a matter of corruption. This is an important issue. The government wants to take everyone along. This motion should come from all parties. Most political parties have said they will respond by tomorrow,” the source told India Today TV.

When it comes to the removal of a judge, at least 100 MPs are required to move an impeachment motion in the Lok Sabha and at least 50 MPs are required to move the motion in the Rajya Sabha.

Confirming the development, Rijiju told reporters that the proposal to convene the Monsoon Session between July 21 and August 12 will be sent to the President.
